About AuthorPilot

AuthorPilot is a KDP review exchange that helps self-published authors get honest Amazon and Kindle book reviews from other real authors, using a fair, points-based economy. Authors list their Kindle books and offer points for each honest Amazon review. Reviewers earn points by reading and reviewing books, which they can use to get their own books reviewed. Key principles: • No paid reviews - all feedback must be honest • Points economy ensures sustainable exchange • Amazon TOS compliant

Every new user receives 25 starting points. Authors spend points when they click Get Reviewed: each click pays for one review slot, held on the book. When a reviewer accepts, that slot's points move to escrow until the review is approved. Once every slot is claimed, the book leaves the library until you add another. When approved: Points release to the reviewer. When rejected or cancelled: Points go back to the book, which stays in the library for another reader. If the book is no longer listed, they refund to the author. Unlisting: Authors can unlist a book from My Books at any time to get its unclaimed points back. Auto-approve: After 5 days with no response, reviews are auto-approved. Platform minimum: 5 points per review. All transactions are recorded for transparency.

After posting on Amazon, reviewers submit in the app: • Amazon review URL (link to the live review) • Amazon display name (must match the name shown on that review) • Star rating (1–5) • Optional: review title and a short excerpt of the review text (helps the author confirm the right post) Authors check the link on Amazon, then approve or reject. Rejections require a reason (min 10 characters). If there is no response within 5 days, the system auto-approves the submission. Broken Amazon book link: If a reviewer cannot open the book's Amazon listing, they can report "Amazon link is broken" from My Reviews. That cancels their assignment, unlists the book, refunds to the author both the points held for that review and any unclaimed points still on the book, and asks the author to update the Amazon URL before listing again.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: • AuthorPilot has no affiliation with Amazon or Kindle Direct Publishing • We do NOT offer paid reviews • All reviewers must provide honest, unbiased feedback • Users are solely responsible for Amazon compliance • Platform does not guarantee Amazon approval of any review • Reviewers should only review books they have legitimately read (purchased or via KU) • Reviewers are paced: at most 3 Amazon review submissions every 7 days (so one account cannot dump many posts in a short window)

For Authors: • Points per review are auto-estimated (typically 10–25; minimum is 5) based on your book size and review type • Write clear book descriptions • Respond to submissions promptly For Reviewers: • Only accept books you'll actually read • Leave thoughtful, honest reviews • Submit proof promptly • Do not rush many Amazon posts in a short window — the platform caps how often you can submit

Q: Is this Amazon compliant? A: We require honest reviews. Each user is responsible for their own Amazon compliance. Q: How do I get more points? A: Complete reviews for other authors' books. After you have at least one validated review, you can also buy point packs if you need a top-up. Q: When are points deducted? A: When you click Get Reviewed, which pays for one review slot. When a reviewer accepts, those points move to escrow until you approve the review.
